They are the demographic cohort following Generation X and they are arguably preceding Generation Z. These set of generation was born between 1981 and 1996. They fall within the age bracket of 22-37 years old. Millennial parents are open-minded and resort to divise ways to achieve proper parenting by utilizing the avialability of book and the internet’s rich resources. such provides a greater pupaulation of these set of people with different parenting ideas, and culturally diverse perspectives from which they can consider all sorts of information and opinions when crafting better approaches to family life. They are also defying conventional notions of marriage, with a lower percentage indicating that marriage before children is essential for parenthood. At the same time, they are more likely to be stay-at-home parents than both Gen X’ers and Baby Boomers. Lastly, Millennials are approaching family life more democratically by questioning themselves and seeking their children’s input in decision-making. Also, these parents are emphasizing a renewed focus on empathy to help children garner a greater understanding and engagement with their world. Millennails are yeilding better parenting wise than the X generation. I am predicting that the Z generation will do better. 2 Reply Share Share Share on Facebook Share on Twitter Share on LinkedIn Share on WhatsApp Leave an answerLeave an answerCancel reply Featured image Select file Browse Save my name, email, and website in this browser for the next time I comment.
