Recently, the 10th Senate under Sen. God will Akpabio legislated against employers of labor in Nigeria limiting their employment web to certain age brackets. Will this help in addressing the inflating rate of unemployment in the country? Will employers of labor adhere to this trend? What should be done to ensure that this legislation is followed?
I doubt this will improve or affect the rate of employment in Nigeria because there is no instrument to check employers' responses to this legislation. It is more of the legislators playing to the gallery.
